Captains Quarters Private Campground. Need Rest and Sleep?

We created Captains Quarters Private Campground with safety in mind; all too often there are tragic roadway incidents that could be avoided with having a safe place to pull off and sleep for the night.

We only host one RV or Trailer at a time to insure privacy, peace and quiet.

On occasion we will host up to two RV's or trailers at a time if it is a party traveling together.

We accept donations only which in turn go towards the care of the rescue animals, the equine hospice care and maintenance of the porta-potty located near roadside, next to the large fenced in off-leash dog park.

Sadly Captain Eor Crunch Tucker has been laid to rest on April 22 of 2024 at 43 years of age.
He stole and warmed the hearts of all that came to meet and know him. Despite the difficult start he had in life and hardships he had to endure along with his special needs he was always gentle natured. He is sorely missed now free from earthly bonds roaming lush and abundant pastures of the heavens.
Rest in peace sweet Captain

Introducing Andy

Our most recent resident, Andy Jon Tucker,  a retired pack mule. Sweet natured, he loves attention, apples and carrots. He was abandoned on a property that was bought by a helpful nature and animal loving couple. They have lamas and no equine so they decided Andy would be best off with us. He enjoys his daily grooming sessions and roaming around our property,  grazing and enjoys the views . He also tries very hard to flirt with the mollies ( female mules) across the way.  Quite the charmer he is.
